FAQ · Downloads and use
Frequently asked questions about the standards and downloads
Which reference documents are available?
The library covers 12 countries and regions — China, the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, India, Australia and New Zealand, Canada, Russia and CIS, Brazil and South Africa — plus international ISO standards. It is grouped into nine topics: national and regional standards, international standards, structural design, marine and offshore, flame retardancy, UV resistance, heat ageing, heavy metals and food contact. Not every country publishes a dedicated FRP grating product standard; where none exists, the library lists the access-platform, imposed-load, fire or FRP material standards a grating specification is checked against.
What do public download and official source mean?
A public download opens a free full text published by the standards body or regulator, such as the eCFR or EUR-Lex. An official source opens the publisher page where the standard can be read or purchased, such as openstd.samr.gov.cn or the ASTM store. A licensed PDF is a file Niteck has been authorised to distribute and is available after signing in.
Why do I need to sign in to download a PDF?
Licensed PDF downloads are limited to signed-in visitors so we can track usage and protect the files from hotlinking. Public and official links never require an account. Creating an account is free.
How are downloads tracked?
Each licensed PDF card shows how many times the file has been downloaded. The number is informational and there is no annual cap. Download links carry a random token that expires after 30 minutes, and the download itself requires a signed-in account, so the PDFs cannot be hotlinked.
Are these the official standard editions?
The PDF or link is the edition named on each card. Standards are revised from time to time; always confirm the edition required by your project contract or design documents. Where a standard cannot be redistributed, the card links to the publisher instead of offering a file.
Can I request a document that is not listed?
Yes. Use the quote form on the calculator page or email our engineering team with the standard number and edition you need, and we will confirm availability.
Sizing and quotation
Need a sizing check for your span and load?
Open the load calculator, select grating types, enter your span and load, and get a deflection and safety result you can send to our engineers as an enquiry.
